Rossi Lane was bored. At seventeen, she found herself stuck in dirt country. Seems a sheriff wanted to solve a homicide and a down-and-outer would do just fine, guilty or not. She feared the gang would betray her to the law to get the sheriff off their backs. After all, the loyalty to death never snitch rule between gang members didn't apply to girls. Only Big Jim stood in the way.

Fate interfered while she waited for the club decision at their rendezvous site in Los Angeles. Her wits, spirit, and knife skills was all she had to depend on and soon she found herself hunted by the law and perhaps by her gang as well.
