Kate Hanson works with Birmingham’s Unsolved Crimes Unit. The UCU tackles the hardest cases — where the evidence is ten years old and there are no leads. Kate wants justice for victims who everyone else has long given up on. Since getting divorced two years ago when her husband cheated on her, she’s the primary carer for their ten-year-old daughter Maisie.
