Robert C. Covel is a retired English teacher, having taught in universities and high schools for thirty-nine years. He received his Ph.D. in English from Georgia State University in 1991. He has published two books of poetry: String Theory in 2012 and Wind Song in 2014. He lives with his wife Deloris, dog Bruce Lee, and cat James Dickey in west Georgia. Twilight of the Gods is his first novel.
