Shef's Song (English Edition)

The room is a small, square chamber with low ceilings and walls of smooth black stone. The floor is made up entirely of large, irregular boulders; some are large enough to provide seating for several people. There are no doors or windows in this room. A narrow tunnel leads from the north wall to the south one, near the center of the room. There is a statue of an angel on the west side of the room.

You have just entered the Derelict Caverns.
This is where you first learned how to recognize and avoid ambushes.
You examine the statue again. It looks like a piece of sculpture carved out of rock. You can't tell anything about its age, but it appears old.
It's made out of a pale greyish stone, roughly cut and roughly shaped, and obviously not very well cared for. Perhaps it was once part of some larger structure that has long since crumbled
