The book's cover picture indicates that the Intellectual has to consider the tri-dimensional perspective of the universe, the world and his surroundings consecutively to produce ideas relevant to society at large and the community he resides in, in particular. The book discusses criticisms levelled at the social group worldwide in its first chapter.
The last three chapters of the book discuss issues related with

• Its being sandwiched between the ideology of nationalism and democracy in the Ethiopian setting
• The role and responsibility of Ethiopian intellectual has also been discussed in the book

The book is a result of a study conducted by the author over the past four years and has been published for the third time in Ethiopia. To produce this book, the author has made use of different studies and views forwarded by internationally renowned writers and researchers.
