Cookie Schwaeber-Issan was born in Brooklyn, NY and immigrated to Israel in 1993 just shortly after the unexpected death of her first husband. She remarried in Israel in 1996 and has been living in a rural community between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.
Cookie is the mother of one son and grandmother of two.
She has been a teacher since 1995 and is the former principal of the only Messianic school in Jerusalem where she served for nine years, traveling throughout the world on behalf of that school.
