The Maltese Caper (English Edition)

In appreciation for, and in the tradition of, the 1941 film The Maltese Falcon, this story is a fictitious continuation of what could have happened years later, circa 1950, when the infamous falcon statue not only reappears in the life of Samuel Spade, but now Detective Shawn McCormick and his wife, Maxine. In fact, many of the original characters, along with a few new ones from the movie, return in an attempt to claim ownership of the elusive bird which plunges the McCormicks into the danger and intrigue that now surround them as they investigate: The Maltese Caper.
