This book covers a wide range of tetras, from the diminutive Ruby Tetra to the Piranha eating Vampire Tetra. It includes the beautiful Peru Bleeding Blue Tetra, Hyphessobrycon margitae, which was only scientifically described in 2016, the egg placing Sailfin Tetra, Crenuchus spilurus, and the Splashing Tetra which lays its eggs out of the water.
This edition was updated in 2023, including extra information and more pictures, and the book has now got over 200 pictures.
