Recommended for lovers of good classical music!
This is the ninth in the series covers all of the Naxos Scarlatti's keyboard sonatas, has been attributed to the Sicilian pianist Francesco Nicolosi. Others were played by, among others, Benjamin Frith, Konstantin Scherbakov, Jeno Jando and an exciting newcomer, Soyeon Lee, for example, Scarlatti: Complete Keyboard Sonatas, Vol. 1, Scarlatti: Sonatas Vol full keyboard. Second, Scarlatti: Sonatas Vol full keyboard. 8 There is, in my opinion, one of the best of the lot.
First Nicolosi, who specializes in, of all things, the music of Austrian composer Sigismund Thalberg, plays these pieces very well as having been written in the nineteenth century.
He uses pedal too, fainted and swans on phrasing, and has much longer the instability of all the pianists in the series. Still, he is a talented player with clean technique and a clear idea of what it is, and always admires a player who knows his own mind. It's worth checking!
