Meet Max, a successful management consultant with dazzling looks, the perfect girlfriend and a high-flying career - who is about to put a gun to his head and pull the trigger to end his life in a grandiose finale. We travel to Max’s life from his carefree years at university, to a career the success of which slowly consumes his entire life.

There is more than meets the eye however. Max has somewhat of a rebellious nature, and, although his life with his long-time girlfriend is seemingly perfect, there is another side to Max which he desperately tries to hide from the world around him. We see the world through Max’s eyes. Max likes women a lot, and seems to lose his self control on more than one occasion. At work Max is the prototype of a successful management shark, although, if anyone had known the truth of his ‘real’ achievements, things might have taken a nasty turn. Max’s twisted vision of life and relationships, his ability to pretend and tendency to self destruct make him end up in one strange situation after another. His keen observation skills and set ways provide for a different view of corporate life and incur him sexual desirability in the eyes of just about any female.

Through Max, we get a cynical view of the hypocrisy of corporate life. We experience what really goes through a man’s mind when meeting and seducing women. And ultimately we see where a boundless and hedonistic lifestyle, built on lie upon lie, eventually ends up.

Every story has multiple sides. And maybe most people do not wear masks – at least not all the time.
