Since launching its first two-stroke saloon just after the Second World War, Saab has built up an enviable reputation for producing among the safest and most environmentally succesful cars in the world, with one of the highest customer retention levels. With contributors from many Saab pioneers, including Gunnar Ljungstrom who was responsible for the first Saab car produced in 1946.
