From the author:
After living in Hawaii and raising kids there, I knew there was a need for quality adventure stories with strong female characters in an authentic Hawaiian setting. The Mo'o is just that. It combines elements of Hawaiian mythology with everyday life on a small island. The Mo'o also explores the struggles of kids on the cusp of becoming teens, that transition from child to young adult that can be such a difficult time to live through.
