SB was enjoying his sojourn in Center City. He was working on a new book and thinking of building his own place. Center City was toned down but close to all the major Florida hotspots and his family was there. He enjoyed being close to his mother, uncle and his partners, Muhammad and MII. They encouraged him to come into the studio with them and he was working on a few musical things. Life was good but lonely. Very lonely, it had been months since he had broken off with Gabriella, a very married woman who had gotten to him with her stories of a loveless marriage, not to mention her fiery temperament and endless well of passion.
He had been on a few dates with women his age but for whatever reasons that never worked for him. He absolutely adored older women with their sophistication and comfortable ways. He needed to get involved.

Gabriella Densmore strode through the airport. A statuesque beauty, nearing fifty with long flowing silver hair. She turned grey early and embraced it because it enhanced her walnut colored, unlined skin. She had been married to her much older husband for twenty-seven years but that hadn’t stopped her from falling in love with Mikeal “SB” Black. Their torrid affair started a couple of years earlier but Mikeal had backed off when Carl got wind of it and confronted him about his wife, threatening to ruin him.

Once Carl discovered SB was Malcolm Black’s nephew he knew it was an idle threat but by that time SB made his own decision to return to Center City to be close to his mother, uncle and extended family. He broke all ties with Gabriella and for months she had accepted that but she yearned for him and had thrown caution to the wind…Center City bound.
Delia loved having her son near but she knew their relationship was strained. Since his father committed suicide a couple of years earlier SB had been away and since his return they had not spent much one on one time together. He stopped by for dinner with her and Thane occasionally and he was at family functions but they had not really talked and it was way past time.
