Since OPEC stepped up the call for NONOPEC and OPEC producers to freeze production, some positive upward price movement have begun to be noticed in the oil industry. Speaking on the impact of the agreement at the just concluded twelfth meeting of the energy dialogue between the European Union EU and the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries OPEC, Abdalla Salem El-Badri, Acting Secretary General of OPEC said, “There’s a positive impact, the prices are up from $27 to $40-41 dollars”.
