LIVER CIRRHOSIS LOST : Survival Guide From Causes, Symptoms, Diagnosis, Effective Treatments That Works, Coping / Recovery Tips And Lots More (English Edition)
Cirrhosis is a late-stage consequence of liver disease and its complications that occurs after the liver has been damaged. It is possible that you will not have any symptoms during the early stages of the disease. Alcohol misuse, hepatitis, and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease are all common causes of cirrhosis. Treatment for cirrhosis is dependent on the underlying cause and the extent of the damage. If your liver is deteriorating, you may be able to benefit from a liver transplant. It is a late stage of liver scarring (fibrosis) that is produced by a variety of liver diseases and conditions, such as hepatitis and chronic alcoholism. It is also referred to as "alcoholic liver disease."
Every time your liver is wounded — whether by disease, excessive alcohol consumption, or another factor — it attempts to repair the damage it has sustained. Scar tissue arises as a result of this process. It becomes increasingly difficult for the liver to function as the disease progresses because of the formation of scar tissue (decompensated cirrhosis). Cirrhosis in its advanced stages is potentially fatal.
Cirrhosis causes irreversible liver damage that cannot be reversed in most cases. However, if liver cirrhosis is detected early and the underlying cause is addressed, additional damage can be minimized and, in some cases, reversed.
