The Story of Black Velvet continues, as the band carry on with Simon Forsyth as their new manager. They continue to live as a family at Brickstead manor, and move on to a new chapter in their careers.

The mystery of who attacked Dania Phillips concerns the band members. When Vickie meets with Tony Gorman she believes him when he tells her he was not responsible. Her defence of him causes friction between her and the others in their circle.

When the band attend a national award ceremony the truth of what happened to Dania is revealed in the most brutal tragic circumstances.

In the aftermath, the band members realise that their whole world has changed and feel nothing can ever be the same again.
