A Refugee's Story (English Edition)

Somalia has been ravaged by years of war with Islamic insurgents. Akeloo has not seen her husband for weeks, the crops have failed again due to the endless drought, and she knows she must leave her village or die. Gathering others around her, with her small child she begins a perilous trek across the barren country in an effort to reach a Kenyan refugee camp. They must cross deserts and mountains, and all the while evading the marauding bands of insurgents.
