The natives, compelled by a biological need to come together at the end of every season of the two seasons on the world of Xutec, have finally assembled.
Having traveled from their home village and relative safety through the perils of the harsh, unforgiving dangers of the primordial jungle surrounding them, the Shoomacans and tribes traveling with them in their caravan have arrived at the Gathering place.
Jason, Marena, and Ben can now experience the thirteen diverse tribes in all their kindness, prejudice, compassion, caring, indifference, and hate.
Old enemies return, joined by similar like-minded individuals.
New friends are made from other worlds who arrived much like the humans did to this strange world.
Competitions among the tribes display their aptitude to living their jungle lifestyle, whether that entails hunting, warfare, or just enjoying the daily life of love, family, songs, and storytelling.
Yet all is not calm beyond the gathered encampment.
Danger continues lurking in the jungle and the aurora-filled skies.
Will Jason and his friends survive?
Will the xenophobic tribes set aside their prejudices and join together?
No one knows what one day to the next will hold in the lands of Xutec.
