This manuscript was given to me by Argee Tomson. I never knew Argee’s real name. He told me that Argee stood for RG, from the old song that he said went like this: “I’m a rambler, I’m a gambler, I’m a long way from home, and if people don’t like me they can leave me alone.” And Argee was nothing, if not a R-ambler and a G-ambler. The Tomson came easy he said, “I was Tom’s son.” A Tom he never knew.
