Shortly after the inspector's reinstatement an American sailor is executed in the middle of the day outside the village bar in Lucrino, and Cipolle is killed by a sniper later that same day. Izzo must work with a Senior Field Agent of the NCIS to discover the killer. This becomes a major problem for the Italian, because not only is the investigator a foreigner, she is also a feminist.
