Everything But The Girl é uma banda britânica de dance music/pop formada
por Tracey Thorn e Ben Watt em 1981.
O primeiro álbum "Eden" foi lançado em 1984 e teve como destaque a música "Each and Every One" com um som puxado um pouco para o Jazz que deixou a banda com estilo "sofisticado pop". Em 1985 chegou o álbum "Love Not Money" que incluÃa um cover da música "Kid" do The Pretenders. No ano seguinte eles lançaram "Baby the stars shine bright", um álbum de canções originais gravado com uma Orquestra. O primeiro single foi Come On Home, seguido por Don't Leave Me Behind.
