Every level of the Foundations Reading Library includes an extensive Activity Book designed to reinforce and practice material presented in the Readers: Vocabulary Activities review and extend vocabulary from the Readers; language practice sections practice the two key points introduced in each Reader; sounds in English sections introduce and practice English phonics; everyday English provides activities for expanding upon functional language introduced in each Reader; a reading section recycles vocabulary from Reader in a new context; a progress test for each Reader checks story comprehension and confirms the grammar, vocabulary, and phonics points presented.
