Happy House: Level 1 Class Book

Happy house takes an appeling approach to english using imaginative stories tha young children listen to and act out. Happy House on listening and speakinf - reading and writing is not introduced until children progress to Happy Street. The stories centre on two very different families living in Happy Haouse. Children will easily identify with the amusing characters Polly and Jack and their baby sister, and enjoy theb fantasy world of the family of mice which live under floorboard. The stories introduce language in a familiar context for the children to enjoy acting out. At the same time children start to use language to communicate in a meaningful way.The course uses songs and puzzles, and coloring and drawing activities to build a solid grounding in vocabulary. Each unit features two highly memorable ways of learning and recycling vocabulary - a look and find activity, and stickers in the class book.
